TrustBridge is being developed by Social Innovation CIC to create a more transparent and accountable way for people to invest in early-stage companies and social innovations.
Companies demonstrate the evidence behind their claims, while investment funding can be safeguarded and released against agreed milestones.
Social Innovation CIC exists to bring ideas to life. We combine lived experience, community insight, professional knowledge and responsible technology to develop solutions that improve public services and people's lives. We believe the people closest to a problem should have a meaningful role in designing the answer.
The people who have faced a system's failures help design the answer to them.
Decisions rest on what can be shown and checked, not on confidence alone.
Acting earlier reduces harm to people and cost to public services.
We separate what has happened from what is hoped for, and say so plainly.
Each innovation is labelled with its honest stage of development. Nothing here is presented as further along than it is.
A preventative, needs-led ecosystem helping children, families, schools and professionals identify unmet needs earlier and build stronger evidence.
In DevelopmentA developing care-summary concept designed to improve access to essential information during admissions, handovers and crisis situations.
ConceptA safer-investment concept designed around verification, milestone-controlled funding and transparent reporting.
ConceptEarly-stage investment often asks people to decide on incomplete information. TrustBridge is designed to address the gaps that leave both sides exposed.
Each step must be completed before the next. Funding follows evidence — not the other way around.
Founders, directors, beneficial owners and investors complete appropriate identity checks.
Company records, finances, debts, intellectual property, ownership and key claims are reviewed.
Important claims are clearly labelled according to the evidence available.
Investment money is handled through an appropriately regulated partner.
Companies submit evidence showing that agreed work has been completed.
The next payment is released only after the relevant review and approval process.
Independently confirmed by a checker outside the company.
Documents have been provided but not yet independently confirmed.
A forecast, target or anticipated result — not something that has happened.
Insufficient evidence is currently available to classify the claim.
TrustBridge separates what has happened, what can be evidenced and what a company hopes to achieve.
Select a milestone to see the agreed outcome, evidence, approvals and payment status. All figures are demonstration data.
Move from a polished deck to structured, checkable information.
Build credibility through evidence, not connections.
Many valuable ideas come from people who have experienced a system's failures first-hand. They may understand the problem deeply but lack traditional investment networks, technical language or a long business history. TrustBridge aims to give credible lived-experience innovators a structured way to demonstrate their evidence, plans, safeguards and progress.
Regulated activity would be delivered only through appropriately authorised partners. Roles marked Partner Required are not yet appointed — we do not claim partnerships we do not have.
A single, shared view of money, milestones and decisions. All figures below are demonstration data.
Early-stage companies can fail even when their founders are genuine and their information has been verified. Forecasts may not be achieved, shares may be difficult to sell and investors may lose all the money they invest.
Arranging investments, operating an investment marketplace, approving financial promotions or holding client money may require Financial Conduct Authority authorisation. Any regulated TrustBridge activity will need to be delivered through appropriately authorised professional partners.
Social Innovation CIC and TrustBridge are not FCA-authorised. Nothing on this page is a financial promotion or an invitation to invest.
Social Innovation CIC is seeking investors, responsible businesses, legal advisers, financial professionals, technology partners and people with lived experience to help shape the TrustBridge model.
